At Maple Ridge Eye Care our goal is to provide quality care in a timely manner. We have implemented an appointment/cancellation policy which enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients' needs.

Appointment Cancellations

Please be courteous and call our clinic promptly if you are unable to attend your appointment; we request that you give us at least 24 hours notice. Available appointments are in high demand and your early cancellation notice will give another patient the opportunity to make use of your allotted time. In cases of extraordinary circumstances that do not allow one-day advance notice, the clinic still appreciates to be informed about the missed appointment. After a second cancellation of less than 24 hours notice, we reserve the right to ask for all future appointments to be paid in full and in advance.

No Show Policy

A “no show” is an appointment missed without advance notice. A failure to present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the patient’s file and we reserve the right to ask for all future appointments to be paid in full and in advance.

We respect our time as well as others so we have implemented these policies in order to make it efficient for all involved and to better serve the needs of all our patients.
